Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

The Friendsgiving Of My Dreams

The Friendsgiving Of My Dreams

My perfect Friendsgiving is in the white marble kitchen of my chateau. Alexa is playing Hobby Lobby music, everyone greets each other with a kiss on the cheek, and we all throw our heads back in slow motion when we laugh. Here are the six people who received an invite.

Tyra Banks

What she brings: bacon topped green bean casserole

The ultimate girl boss. She is the entrepreneur I aspire to be. You know, Tyra and I have the same personality so it’s not a far stretch to say I could own an empire as she does someday. Tyra is extremely sure of herself, and she does not let her mistakes define her, she always seems to laugh off what the haters say, then she’s off to the next project. Goalz.

Will Smith

What he brings: four cheese macaroni & cheese

Will Smith has always been the freshest prince, but he is currently the king of Instagram. He takes the most adventurous family vacations, and he’s presently indulging in my best life. His upbringing and the way he started his career is so unusual, and he’s all about tackling obstacles that hold you back. It’s a great way to live + I need to be on that level.

HRH The Duke and Duchess of Sussex (and baby Sussex!)

What they bring: roasted chestnut dressing and dinner rolls

Did someone say power couple? I am a walking encyclopedia for these two. Yes, I set my alarm clock for 5:00 am so I could watch her walk down the aisle in the most gorgeous Givenchy wedding dress I’ve ever seen. Until I get married myself, their love story is my favorite. Trust me, I know every detail there is to know about their relationship, and I have zero shame about it. I’m fascinated with the Royal family so of course they are invited to my table. Meghan is a foodie like me, so she’s in charge of bringing the main side dish. Harry couldn’t bear the thought of showing up empty handed so brought two dozen homemade rolls, a pure necessity for any Thanksgiving meal.

Adrienne Bailon-Houghton

What she brings: rustic garlic mashed potatoes

Israel can stay at home on this one. Adrienne is like a homegirl in my head. Like, we’re actual cheetah girls, cheetah sisters. She is so real and so entertaining, I couldn’t imagine a party without her! She seems like she has stories for days, and most of the time she’s laughing at herself which I think is so refreshing. We have the same sense of style, and we both love a clean, classic, modern, white look. If we’re getting real Friendsgiving fantasy here, she was most likely my interior designer for this whole thing. I called her up and was like, “Yo Adrienne, can you help me turn my chateau into pumpkin city before Thursday?” and she’s all like, “I got you, girl, let’s meet over brunch to talk details.” See, friends.

Reverend Lee Stoneking

What he brings: The Word and a tower of pumpkin spice macarons

I think all of these celebrities are great, but let’s be honest, they need Jesus. This whole thing would absolutely be a set-up Bible Study. Salutations would be said, the table will be set, and Bro. Stoneking would, of course, bless the food. This turns into a six-hour prayer meeting, and everyone leaves my home rejuvenated and filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost and a clear understanding of the Bible in its entirety. I’m not even joking that would be my dream come true. Hey, food can be reheated.
