If you are anything like me, the smallest alteration or shift in plans for the day can alter your entire mood. Thankfully, there are small mental hacks to snap me right back into my pleasant state of mind. I have a list of simple yet practical things to purchase and indulge in to make sure I am living each day to the fullest and with positivity. Here is a short list of little things that bring me back to my happy, mentally healthy state.


Fresh flowers

A floral arrangement in an open area of your home is the ultimate "Honey, I'm home," pick me up. A bundle of seasonal fresh flowers can instantly lighten a dark mood. If you can afford it, treat yourself with a vibrant arrangement, and take the proper channels to care for the flowers. If you cannot afford monthly flowers for your home, invest in a fantastic faux floral arrangement.

Staycation

Take a day (or two) to recharge your mind and refresh your body with the ultimate staycation. Unplugging from reality for a while will help you get motivated for any critical events happening in the near future. It is an overall reboot. Temporarily (or permanently) cutting out meat

Meat slows down the metabolism, leaving you sluggish and tired. If you have an intense week coming up, and you need to focus, cut out the meat and double up on your veggies! It makes a huge difference in your energy levels and daily focus.

Refreshing the wardrobe

The clothing you have not worn within the past year needs to be sold or donated. Purging unworn clothing frees up space, and it is an opportunity to make some extra cash! Do a swap and shop with your friends and trade some seasonal pieces just for fun.
