Aneissa’s Book Club- April
Rachel Hollis has quickly become one of my absolute favorite human beings. She has paved the way for everything I want to do in life. Rachel is an exceptional wife, mother, and multimillionaire boss. In her novel, Girl Stop Apologizing, The Shame-Free Plan for Embracing and Achieving Your Goals, she shatters my entire universe of thinking in terms of success. She makes it very clear that she is not your cheerleader; she is your head coach. Each chapter of this book is a step on the staircase toward success. This author makes you feel like you can achieve any goal you want to in life; then, she tells you how. She shares deeply personal stories, sound advice, and hundreds of tweetable quotes for the women on the rise.
Would I recommend:
I give this book five stars. There's just no way around it. From cover to cover I felt like I was listening to some future successful version of myself. The Aneissa ten years from now who has seen it all and who has done it all; she invited me for coffee, and we sat and talked for hours about the journey from here to there. I absolutely recommend this book for any human being who wants to better themselves in any area of life. Rachel gives an excellent overview of how to be the best version of yourself starting from the inside out. If you have not picked up this novel already do it now. I know I will read this multiple times; it's just chalked fulled of positive vibes and things I need to hear on a daily basis. Do yourself a favor and Girl, Stop Apologizing.
Aneissa's Book Club book of the month for May is titled: 12 Ways Your Phone Is Changing You by Tony Reinke. It is an explicitly clear novel on how and why we are so addicted to social media and technology. This book was highly recommended to me, and I am positive it will not disappoint.
