Three Things To Continue Long After COVID-19

Three Things To Continue Long After COVID-19

We have learned a lot from living through (what we hope will soon be) history. The Coronavirus news has opened our eyes to new dangers and the reality of how fast sickness and disease can spread if we allow it to. Long after COVID-19 and it's symptoms are gone, here are three things to continue doing to ensure a healthy lifestyle.

Wash your hands for at least twenty seconds

We are all busy people, think about everything you touch in a day. How often did we stop + focus on the amount of time we are cleansing our hands? The CDC (Center For Disease Control) recommends the active use of soap and water for a full twenty seconds to kill bacteria and rinse away grime + dead skin cells. Intentional handwashing could save you, a loved one, or a stranger from unwanted sickness.

Deep clean your entire home regularly

As tedious as it may seem, deep cleaning your home has several benefits. You obviously get a well-put-together home, but germ-fighting cleansers help keep you and your family safe. A tidy home means you know where everything is, and your junk drawers are a little less junky. You create an overall sense of wellness when your home is neat. Not sure where to begin? Spring Cleaning Tips

Shower immediately after coming home for the day

After a long day at work or a full day of errands, you are inevitably going to feel drained. Instead of transferring outside bacteria onto your floors and home furniture, immediately shower and correctly place dirty laundry. Not only does this decrease the number of public elements in your home, but it also leaves you feeling revitalized, refreshed. It allows you to make the transition to evening mode to relax, cook dinner, or get ready for bed.

Work smarter, not harder when it comes to protecting your home and keeping others safe. Small precautions can make a significant impact on our physical + health. Stay safe and spread joy, not germs.
