Blue Spirulina has a ton of health benefits. Spirulina is packed with antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties. It can reduce blood pressure and improve muscle strength, but our favorite benefit is the radiant and fun blue color; it gives our new favorite nutritious smoothie bowl. Start your day with a vibrant meal and let it take you on a tropical culinary journey. 


Prep Time: 5 minutes 

Cook Time: 5 minutes 

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yields: 2 servings



Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas

  • 1 cup of nut milk

  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter 

  • 1/2 cup of ice 

  • 1 tablespoon of Blue Spirulina

Topping Ingredients: 

  • kiwi

  • sliced almonds

  • shredded coconut 

  • granola (optional)



Directions: 

  • In a blender place bananas, nut milk, peanut butter, ice, and blue spirulina 

  • Incorporate until smooth

  • Scoop smoothie into a bowl and place toppings as desired

  • Enjoy!
