Four Things You Should Do Every Sunday
Acknowledge the past week
Whether you mentally reflect on it, journal about it, or call a friend, recognize that through all of the negative things that affected you the past seven days- you made it through! Be grateful for the positive things, no matter how small. Take time to compartmentalize your week mentally; this reflection practice accurately helps you weigh out your week. Now you can move on and strive for new goals.
Clean your space
A clean environment helps you focus on the days ahead. Take this time for organizing, laundry, and throwing away things you no longer need. Take some extra time to clean thoroughly, and do not forget your:
Vehicle
Living
Workspace
Purse
Emails
Nothing is more therapeutic than planning and organizing the days to come. Get yourself ready for a fresh new week by at least thinking about some of your meals. This helps with keeping your food budget low, and it cuts down on spontaneous spending.
Practice Selfcare
Sunday selfcare can be as easy as treating yourself to a donut. Set aside time for yourself, turn off all distractions, turn up the relaxing tunes, and indulge in one selfcare practice you deserve. Go for a walk, try a new face mask, give yourself a manicure, do whatever centers you back to you.
