Hi.

My First Facial

My First Facial

I already know what you're thinking, "Rejuvenation queen has never had a facial?!" Nope, not until recently, and let me tell you, it was outstanding! I went to this incredibly calming spa called Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, and I received a detox facial. The detox facial resucues congested and lackluster skin. It rebuilds skin texture by unclogging pore impurities.

The process:

I walk in and immediately feel the tranquility. A calming wall waterfall and peaceful music overwhelm me, I had to leave my stress on the welcome mat. I check in + have a seat. About 10 minutes later I was escorted into a dimly-lit room, and I was told to make my self comfortable. Absolutely no problem! I was blessed to have Leila, the lead esthetician to perform my first facial. She gave me a quick consultation about my skin, and we had a brief discussion about future results I want to see in my complexion. Then the most relaxing 60 minutes of my life drifted by. Laying on an extremely warm massage table. My face was steamed, exfoliated purged, and moisturized. It felt like mere moments, but when I reluctantly sat up and glanced at my face, I barely recognized that glowing girl.

Would I recommend:

Yes, a thousand times yes! I recommend having a facial at least one time. That consultation alone was precious to me because I learned a lot about my skin. I used that opportunity to ask questions to a professional about the products I'm currently using, and I left the spa incredibly relaxed and informed. I believe everyone should treat themselves to a facial at least once, but if you have significant blemishes or problem skin, a facial is recommended every four weeks. For pricing and more information about Hand & Stone, I will leave a link below, and you can treat yourself to one of their various facials or massages.
