The Seven Day Challenge
Every day can be a great day; it all depends on your mindset. Your outlook on situations has the ability to alter your entire mood in a negative way and of course, in a positive way! The seven-day challenge will help you focus on the sweetest part of your time.
Day 1: Be Kind
Simple but effective. Sprinkle genuine compliments and watch someone light up over the fact you noticed them.
Day 2: Be confident
There are seven billion unique personalities on the Earth, and yours is extra special! Do not be afraid to show some personal style!
Day 3: Be adventurous
Try something you have never done before! The Never Have I Ever category of this blog has allowed me to dive into exciting new activities. Try fresh new food you have always been skeptical of. Rock a color you never thought you would look good in. There is no way to ease into it. Cannonball into a new you!
Day 4: Be creative
We all have creative outlets. Something that makes us feel 100% individual. Write a new song, purchase a canvas, and add your art around the house. Contribute something beautiful to the world.
Day 5: Be independent
Take the initiative and do something yourself. Ask for the raise you have been wanting suggest secondary routes to company goals. Or on a smaller scale, do not go with the flow for one day. Do whatever you want to do, be the captain of you.
Day 6: Be a dreamer
Make a list of five new goals you want to reach next week. Write down obtainable things you want to accomplish and the steps toward achieving them. Do not just let great ideas float around in your brain; put them to paper and work them to reality.
Day 7: Be Brave
Do the right thing. This can be as easy as throwing away a piece of litter or as difficult as admitting your hurt someone you care about. At the end of the day, no matter where they fall on the scale, you will have a clearer conscious and feel better about yourself. Step out and take the lead, someone may be depending on you.
Slowing incorporating these mind hacks will help you focus more on the positive and develop gratitude. Soon, they will all bleed through to the next day, and you will accomplish all seven of these concepts in one day.
